Mike Kelly
CEO & Founder, Conexus








Mike has more than 20 years’ experience in providing accounting, advisory, human capital, ERP system design/integration and human capital solutions. He is a Partner at Conexus, an Interim Solutions and Executive Search firm specialized in the areas of Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, and Information Technology. Mike was a Founding Partner of Irvine based Citadel CFO. In 2020, Citadel merged with Conexus, an Executive Search firm based in Los Angeles. The merger has turned Conexus into one of the largest and fastest growing recruitment firms in Southern California. With offices in Irvine, El Segundo, and Pasadena, Conexus provides human capital solutions to clients in a multitude of industries located throughout the SoCal region.
Prior to Citadel and Conexus, Mike founded, scaled, and sold multiple professional services firms:
He founded Spinnaker Financial Resources, which provided public and private companies with interim CFO, Controller, and direct hire accounting resources. The company was acquired by Tatum LLC, a national consultancy firm, and he played a lead role in growing their California presence to include offices in San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
Next, Mike was a co-founder of Beacon Resources, which was named by the Orange County Business Journal as one of the fastest growing consulting companies in Orange County for four years in a row. Beacon was acquired by Gryphon Investors/DLC.
After Beacon was acquired, Mike co-founded Tactical Cloud, which grew to the fastest growing cloud ERP NetSuite partner in Southern California. Tactical Cloud was acquired by Eide Bailly, a top 20 CPA firm and the largest NetSuite provider in the company.
Mike is a former CPA who began his professional career in the Entrepreneurial Services Group of Ernst & Young, assisting an array of businesses from start-ups to mature public companies in audits and SEC reporting.
Mike received his BS degree with a concentration in accounting from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo. He serves on the Ernst & Young alumni board of directors and is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Frank Jaehnert is the former President & CEO of Brady Corporation (NYSE: BRC), an international manufacturer of Identification Solutions from 2003 until 2013. Before that he served as its CFO and as a divisional President.
Prior to joining Brady in 1995 he held various financial positions in Germany and the US at Robert Bosch, a multinational engineering and technology company. Mr. Jaehnert received the equivalent of an MBA from the University of Stuttgart, Germany.
He serves on the Boards of Nordson (NASDAQ: NDSN), Itron (NASDAQ: ITRI), NM Holding, Inc., and NACD Chicago.
Frank is a Certified Director and a Board Governance Fellow by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), and an SEC-designated audit committee "financial expert".
He has been recognized as a 2020 and 2024 NACD Directorship 100 Honoree, which each year elects the 100 most influential leaders in the boardroom. In 2025 he was honored as a 100 Exceptional Private Company Board Members by Board Prospects.
He was a regional winner of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year program in 2008, and has served as a regional, national, and world judge of the program for many years.
Frank is a frequent panelist and moderator on topics such as Mergers & Acquisitions, Audit Committee, Compensation, Corporate Governance Matters, Internal Audit Issues, as well as Corporate Strategy.

Jill Evanko is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Duravant, LLC, a Warburg Pincus, Carlyle and Temasek owned business. Prior to joining Duravant in January 2026, Jill served as President and CEO of Chart Industries, Inc. (NYSE: GTLS) since June of 2018. Ms. Evanko joined Chart in February of 2017 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Chart, Jill was the Chief Financial Officer of Truck-Lite Co., LLC as well as having held multiple operational and financial executive positions at Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV) and its subsidiaries. Prior to joining Dover in 2004, Ms. Evanko held financial roles at Arthur Andersen, LLP, Honeywell Corporation and Sony Corporation.
Jill serves as an independent director of the Board of Greif, Inc. (NYSE: GEF). She previously served on the Board of directors of Chart Industries, Parker Hannifin (NYSE: PH) and Alliant Energy (NASDAQ: LNT) and its affiliates. Jill received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from La Salle University. She is the winner of the 2020 ExxonMobil Power Play Rainmaker award, the 2020 S&P Global Platts Energy Award for Chief Trailblazer, and the World LNG Executive of the Year 2020. She was named a 2022, 2023 and 2024 Hydrogen Economist Women in Hydrogen 50, S&P Global Platts Energy Awards Chief Executive of the Year finalist (2023), Institutional Investor All-America Executive Team 2022 #3 Best Mid-Cap CEO Winner, Hart Energy’s 25 Influential Women in Energy (2021) and a 2023 EY Entrepreneur of the Year for the Southeast Region.
Jill also serves on the non-profit Board of Directors of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) and on the Board of Trustees of La Salle University.

Naomi Kent is the Founder and CEO of The Boardroom Company, a business that prepares executives to pursue and land board seats.
She has spent the last 24 years working with boards of directors and, for the past 9 years, advising and guiding professionals on how to become board members. She helps her clients create a plan, develop a value statement, write their board bio, upgrade their LinkedIn, and ensure they are in the right circles to achieve their goals.
She spends her time in Chicago and also in Florida, and is a scuba diver and long-distance swimmer in her spare time.

Mr. Hilsheimer’s broad business background in tax, corporate finance and public accounting roles bring to the Board public company financial reporting, capital structure, mergers and acquisitions, public board service, executive leadership and technology and cybersecurity experience. Mr. Hilsheimer’s extensive experience as a chief financial officer with responsibility and accountability for corporate finance functions gives him valuable insight as a board member.

Natasa brings more than 15 years of experience in strategic account leadership, cultivating long-term relationships with CFOs and executive leadership teams at middle-market and publicly traded companies. She specializes in delivering finance and accounting talent solutions aligned to business priorities and transformational initiatives.
Prior to joining Conexus as Partner, Natasa was a Director at Korn Ferry, where she grew the Chicago interim finance and accounting consulting practice. Before Korn Ferry, Natasa held leadership roles spanning Big 4 consulting, global retail, and international development at Deloitte, KPMG, Gap Inc., and the World Bank Group.
Natasa holds a B.A. in International Affairs from Loyola University and a Master of Human Resource Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. She serves on the FEI Chicago Programs Committee and the Executive Club of Chicago Leadership Circle, building relationships within the Office of the CFO and Chicago's finance, accounting, HR, and technology community.
